It's all Diana's fault. I was at Knit Night working on the Shawl-That-Never-Ends, when she started teaching the person next to me how to spin on a drop spindle. It looked so cool! I was sucked in immediately. I went home & ordered a drop spindle & fiber.
This is my first drop spindle (purchased from Maine Woods Yarn & Fiber), with fiber I purchased from the Sheep Shed Studio.
Carol included some bonus fiber:
(I bought a few more spindles, too.)
Next, I moved up to a spinning wheel. I haven't taken a picture of mine (her name is Judy), but you can see the model I have here. Once I got the wheel, I finished spinning & plying this yarn:
The yarn was very uneven. I decided to knit it into a hat holding it doubled.
And that's what I've been doing lately.
This kind of knit wear is very popular in my region (northern India), do you sell this stuff??
