Rose quartz & rock crystal drop necklace + earrings

Most of the rose quartz you see is opaque & therefore is cut cabochon style.  This rose quartz is translucent, so the faceted cut makes it sparkle!  (You can see my other rose quartz necklace here.)

The rose quartz in the three necklace drops are 9.7mm faceted ovals, with a total carat weight of 5.25.  I set them in sterling silver, & hung them from my favorite sterling silver figure 8 chain.  The little clear drops are made with 4mm faceted rock crystal (aka clear quartz) beads and sterling silver headpins.  The necklace is just over 16.75 inches long, and weighs 0.2 oz.
The matching earrings are made with 8x6mm faceted rose quartz ovals weighing about 1.05 carats each.  I set them in sterling silver, & hung them from sterling silver post earrings.  The total weight of the earrings is less than 0.1 oz.
