White howlite oval cabochon earrings

The first two pictures were taken outdoors in direct sunlight; the third was taken indoors in indirect light.

Howlite is another one of my favorite stones.  It is often dyed and used as a substitute for turquoise or lapis lazuli, but I like it best in its undyed state.  The white stone with the soft gray veins reminds me of marble.

These particular stones are oval cabochons, measuring 6x4mm and weighing about 0.49 carats each.  I set them in sterling silver.
