Sodalite oval bead-link necklace

I've been having trouble finding sodalite beads in sizes appropriate for bead-link necklaces, so I was glad to find these beauties.  They aren't uniformly blue--the white patches are calcite--but I think the white inclusions are interesting without being overpowering.

The beads are flat ovals, measuring about 18x13mm.  I linked each with sterling silver wire, and finished with a Bali silver twisted s-clasp.

The necklace is 20.75 inches long (can be worn shorter by hooking the clasp between two beads as shown), and weighs 1.7 oz.
