Snowflake obsidian chip necklace

Jewelry_picture_250 Jewelry_picture_281 When I first started working with beads, I bought a lot of chip strands because they were cheap.  But what do you do with chips?  This necklace design is what I came up with.

The size of the chips is a little too small to see the gray-against-black pattern that gives snowflake obsidian its name, but I do like the way the gray & black harmonizes with the 6mm round hematite beads.  (You can see my other snowflake obsidian necklaces here and here.)  I finished with a sterling silver lobster clasp.

The necklace is 17.5 inches long, with a weight of 0.9 oz.

Price: $12.50 (shipping is free)
