Have I mentioned that I love chatoyant beads? (Just checking.) Anyway, these blue tigereye beads (sometimes referred to as hawk's eye) are beautifully chatoyant and a lovely shade of blue to boot!
The flat ovals measure about 20x15mm. I joined each bead with gold-filled wire, finishing with a vermeil hook & eye clasp from India.
The necklace is 22.75 inches long, with a weight of 2.6 oz.
