This jasper is a new variety for me: my supplier calls it chita jasper. It's a nice yellowish green brushed with black, and the individual 14x10mm beads are shaped like Chiclets. I made simple earrings to match.
For the necklace, I linked each bead with gold-filled wire, finishing with a Bali vermeil s-clasp. The necklace is 22 inches long, and weighs 1.3 oz.
You can shorten the length of the necklace by hooking the clasp between two beads as shown, instead of at the end.
I made the earrings by hanging a jasper chiclet and a 3mm gold-filled bead from a gold-filled French hook. The earrings measure about 0.75 inches from the bottom of the French hook to the end of the dangle. The earrings weigh about 0.1 oz.
