Snowflake obsidian 8mm cube necklace

I think snowflake obsidian may be my favorite of the obsidian varieties.  The gray blotches are cristobalite, formed in the high temperatures of the lava flow.  You can see my other snowflake obsidian necklace here.

I set off each group of three with big silver lantern beads from Bali, and then alternated each bead with 2mm sterling silver beads, finishing with a Bali silver hook & eye clasp.

The necklace is 19 inches long, with a weight of 2.1 oz.
