New "jade" rectangle bead-link necklace
"New jade" is the name commonly given to serpentine. It's very pretty and makes a nice jade substitute (and one could argue that "jade" basically means "stone", so how inaccurate are we really when we call this or that "jade"? But that's a slippery slope I'm not going to wander down.)
Anyway. These beads are rectangles, measuring about 16x8x8mm. I linked each with gold-filled wire, and finished with a Bali vermeil S-clasp. The length of the necklace is 23 inches (can be worn shorter), with a weight of 2.3 oz.
Price: $17 (shipping is free)
Hello
I have a rectangular bead necklace that is made of carnelian, lapis and "gold" (some sort of plate but not shiny gold)and I have no matching earrings for it. Pierced ears.
I like earrings that don't weight too much and I'm sensitive to metal so always get gold posts, wires, etc.
If I send you a picture of the necklace, would you be interested in making some earrings, either with lapis or carnelian rectangular beads?
I add this post to this new "jade" necklace because the look is similar.
