These mother of pearl beads are lightly tinted with golden yellow, so I used gold vermeil Bali spaces to set them off. The beads are about 6.5mm in diameter, and almost all of them have a couple of translucent spots which give them a nice chatoyant flash. I finished the necklace with a simple vermeil hook & eye clasp from India.
The necklace is 19 inches long, and weighs 0.9 oz.
