The main characteristic of fancy jasper is that it has all kinds of color: greens, reds, creams, browns. It's kind of a color smorgasbord.
These nuggets measure about 10x8mm. I alternated them with 2.5mm sterling silver rounds, and then finished with a Bali silver hook & eye clasp. The necklace is 20 inches long, and weighs 1.8 oz.
