It's hard to tell precisely without calipers, but I think these nuggets are 8mm wide by 10mm long. I alternated them with 2mm sterling silver beads.
The aventurine looks a bit lighter in direct sunlight.

These amethyst nuggets are a very dark purple, so I took a closeup picture in direct sunlight for you.
The nuggets are about 20 to 25mm in length, & they look a bit rugged. They're polished, but there are a few hills & valleys present.
I linked each bead with sterling silver wire, & used a Bali silver hook & eye clasp.

Amethyst is a form of quartz that's been used as a gemstone for millenia. These beads are 8mm in diameter, and are a nice medium color. I used Bali silver twist beads as accents.

The golden sheen comes from gas bubbles in the lava flow that produced this obsidian. It makes the beads look a bit like autumn leaves.

I'm fairly certain that lapis pyrite is a composite (manmade) material, assembled from lapis and pyrite. It's very attractive!

I put the quartz in quotes because cherry quartz isn't really quartz--it's glass. I guess they call it quartz because it looks like quartz.
Anyway, even though these beads are only glass, they're very nice glass. The cherry & golden pigment streaks vary (& on some of the beads the golden pigment looks like rust).

Howlite is often dyed, but I like it undyed best. The white stone with the soft gray veins reminds me of marble.

This is a supersized necklace. Not only is it long (24.75 inches), it's also heavy--5.3 oz, which sounds innocuous until you realize it's 1/3 lb (about 150 grams for people more comfortable with metric). Heavy.
The beads are dyed chalcedony (pronounced kal-sid'-ney), & they look like green marble to me. I washed them carefully to make sure that the dye wouldn't come off.
