Green chalcedony faceted nugget bead-link necklace
This is a supersized necklace. Not only is it long (24.75 inches), it's also heavy--5.3 oz, which sounds innocuous until you realize it's 1/3 lb (about 150 grams for people more comfortable with metric). Heavy.
The beads are dyed chalcedony (pronounced kal-sid'-ney), & they look like green marble to me. I washed them carefully to make sure that the dye wouldn't come off.
Each bead is a faceted nugget, around 15 to 20 mm long. They are linked with tarnish resistant silver -plated wire, with a silver-plated hook & eye clasp.
The length is adjustable.
Price: $20.30 (shipping is free)
Whoever designed this, there is a "twin" to this one, sitting at my house right now. I used recycled bottle glass, faceted, and the only difference is that I joined them with sterling with the wrapped twist on each connecting wire.

Cool! I think the recycled glass beads are so neat.
